Responsibilities
A Sales Coordinator prepares and then follows up on any sales quotations made for clients,
negotiating terms with the client at a cost best suited for them.
Responds to customer inquiries by understanding inquiry; reviewing previous inquiries and
responses; gathering and researching information; assembling and forwarding information;
verifying customer’s understanding of information and answer.
Records customer inquiries by documenting inquiry and response in customers’ accounts.
Improves quality service by identifying new product and service applications.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness
Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems
Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries are
handled efficiently.
The Sales Coordinator must liaise between other departments and the client to provide the
service most suitable to the client’s needs, cost and time restraints.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
